ABOUT Dave

I try to order my life with God first, spouse second, family third and church/ministry fourth. Devotion to all of the above is vital, but I believe a balanced life means care is taken in a prioritized manor to secure my relationship with God, family and church in a way that honors the institutions God established on earth. He first communed with man, then created his helpmate, then gave family and later developed the

body of believers.

My relationship with Him is solely based on His mercy and grace extended to me, "when we were yet sinners, Christ died for us", died for me, pretty well sums up my heart attitude toward Him. Far beyond securing my soul, Christ, through His Word, challenges me daily to walk in His light, adjust my thinking to His, look beyond the obvious and see what is found through faith, submitting to change those things I discover to be contrary to His will and emptying myself of pride, ego and humanistic thought patterns. He has sustained me over a lot of years, walked with me through deep valleys and has never left me alone. I have learned (and still learning) that even when He seems silent, He is still at work

and has

my life in His hands.

Employment

DEAN of the FRC Conservatory School of Music

Strategic planning from inception of the Conservatory to over 400 students for Winter Term 2010.

Recruited 28 teachers : meeting all requirements, education, experience, character, abilities and all references

Conceived and wrote all policy manuals for teachers and students

Created and maintained budget

Developed advertising strategies and implemented

Hired/released faculty as needed

Managed parental/student issues as pastor and Dean

Designed and developed invoicing and payment schedules for lessons

Created material for website and set up PayPal account for online payments

Administrated faculty and fulltime assistant and one part time assistant

Developed time cards for teachers, pay system and accounting

Developed scholarship program for needy, gifted students

Set yearly calendar including recitals, faculty meetings and socials

Created an on site atmosphere for parents including waiting areas and monitoring of lesson areas

Position for FRC church as keyboardist and assistant to the Worship Pastor.

Keyboard Artist in Residence, Rehearsal keyboardist for choir, ensembles, orchestra and soloists

Pastoral duties included benevolent care, hospital visitation for music persons as needed, adult bible class teacher and special music for banquets, weddings and funeral services
